Growing up we always had Chevy or GMC in the driveway, my favorite memories were the days my parents would have us kids hop in a truck and take us down a side road to no where for a fun afternoon trip. I wasn’t really in the market for a truck until my brother had mentioned one he knew about at a shop for sale. Low and behold there I was making a down payment on my first square body project truck in 2021, a 1986 GMC 2500 with 196,000 original KM’s on it and built in Oshawa Ontario and sold as a Ministry Truck in Toronto back in its day. I had my work cut out for me, I had the body and paint done in 2023, shortly after I brought her home with some help. We started replacing what it needed, the fuel tank/ sending unit, a new rad installed and chasing a some wiring here and there. I’m very proud of how far this truck has come along and will continue to keep at her.
