1966 Chevy C10 – Zane R.
My Chevy C10 has been my very first project truck as I purchased it last fall when I was 16. Now I’m 17 and it’s been a journey. First of all, I purchased the truck off a friend of my uncle’s that lived out in Arizona. We got the truck already running and in great shape. It started off a very rust-free truck which is quite rare living in the northern part of Ohio. Starting last winter to now, I have spent countless hours restoring and replacing everything on the truck. The truck now is lowered 4 inches and sits on a set of B/G Rod Works 18’s and has been converted to 5 on 5 bolt pattern with front disk breaks. With the help of my dad and step father, we converted it to power steering and it now has a 350 engine in it. Being a very big fan of the “patina style”, I wet sanded and clear coated the entire truck leaving for a unique finish. Being so young, this truck has taught me lots about cars and working with my hands. Now, I am very excited to take it to my very first car show and see where this journey takes me.
