1966 Chevy C10 – Mason F.

I was a Ford guy when I was young because that’s what I growed up with but I remember seeing my 1st gen C10 when I was about 10 years old and I thought wow that’s a good looking truck I love the Body Lines inside and out. Two or three years later one of my brother-in-laws got a 64 or 5 C10 and I helped him work on it and knew right then I had to have one. At the age of 53 I was able to buy a 66 short bed small back glass that was in pretty rough shape with a worn out 305 motor a 350 transmission with a cracked bellhousing plywood in the bed, Rusty rockers and doors. I wasn’t a lowrider fan but the truck did have airbags on it when I bought it. I had planned on taking them off and selling them. But 5 years later she’s still on airbags they are kind of handy when working on her and a wow factor when I park her and lower her down. Now she has a crate 355 motor with a baby blower, power steering ,power brakes, a built 700R4 tranny 373 gears with posi track rear end. I cut the original Hood and raised it 2 in for a hood scoop keeping them Body Lines. Finally had it painted and polish the wheels. I have bought 75% of my parts from LMC TRUCK starting with the front bumper and Grill to all new cab rubber a Bedwood kit back to the roll pan and all the little things in between. She’s no show truck but I sure love showing her off. Say hello to my mistress.
It would be an honor and a dream come true to be on the cover of your magazine thank you. Mason F.
