1984 Chevy Silverado K30 – Paul S.
In early 1984 I ordered this truck with every single option that GM had available per the attached bio and the original window manufacturer sticker. I received it on 6/30/1984. My two brothers and I were addicted to Indiana bass fishing, so I/we mostly used it for fishing as we put our Jon boat in the back of the truck bed and went fishing in our favorite family fishing spots. Fortunately, since day one, I had a heated garage it stayed in its whole life. A little over two years ago my two brothers passed away from COVID, so I took it upon myself with the help of LMC truck parts to bring it back to its original restored condition as brand new in memory of my two older brothers and all the good times we had together. I have had numbers of big box trucks in my lifetime, yet this one was always my #1 favorite of my entire lifetime and no doubt the best-looking truck to date I have ever seen or ever had. So, this restoration to perfection that was completed in my own garage at home took well over two years to completion here in the last few weeks or so. As the bio says, it is nearly one of a kind and to date I have never in my lifetime seen a 1-ton single axle, fleet side bed, four-wheel drive K30 454. Maybe there is one out there that I am not aware of, yet as you can see from the pictures and the drone video the truck has been restored to the new condition when I watched them back it off the car/truck at Hubler Chevrolet factory delivery in Indianapolis, Indiana. Hopefully you will enjoy looking at it as much as I have.
