1970 Chevy C10 – Ken & Jake H.

We started this project about 20 years ago. My friend Kevin who has pass away gave me the truck. It was originaly a utility bed but we took that off and found a short bed. It has traveled to St. Louis, the Nevada desert, Seattle and now rests in Florida, finally completed. Each leg of these trips offered some work on it, but most of the work was done in our small garage in Seattle. As you can see by the pics it was a total frame off build. My son Jake and I worked off and on for at least 10 years. We were both working full time. Time passed and my wife and I decided to move to Florida as she had retired. We had the truck shipped and continued to work on it with the help of Skyway Classics. Finally getting it done the summer of 2025 it was ready for body and paint. My friend Gabriel did an outstanding job. We now enjoy taking it to car shows, many of which are at Retirement homes. The folks there really enjoy seeing the old cars.
