1987 Chevrolet K10 – Matt H.

Built from the ground up, this 1987 Chevrolet K10 is the result of a complete custom restoration that blends modern performance with timeless square-body styling. Originally spending its life working on a ranch in Northern Saskatchewan, the truck was purchased by NCC in 2025 with plans for a simple restoration. Once the build began, the vision quickly evolved into a no-compromise frame-off custom build.

The truck was completely disassembled down to every nut and bolt, with the body and chassis fully separated and restored independently. Nearly every component on the truck has been replaced, upgraded, refinished, or custom fabricated to create a build that feels factory-new while still staying true to its classic roots.

Inside, the cab features custom LMC seats, upgraded gauges, and hand-crafted custom dyed headliner and door panels that elevate the interior while maintaining a clean, period-correct feel.
Power comes from an LS1 paired to a 4L60 transmission and NP205 transfer case, delivering reliable modern performance both on and off the road. The drivetrain is backed by a Dana 44 front differential and GM 12-bolt rear differential equipped with 3.73 gears and lockers. Sitting on aftermarket wheels wrapped in 35” BFGoodrich KO3 tires, the truck was built to perform as well as it looks.

Finished in a custom metallic brown paint with hand-painted pinstriping, the K10 carries a refined appearance while preserving the rugged character that made these trucks iconic. Every detail of the build was carefully considered to create a truck that feels like the ultimate evolution of what the square-body platform should have been from the factory.
