1980 Chevrolet C10 – Jon B.

Just days before hitting one year of owning the Chevy, we finally got it wrapped up in paint.

Growing up, both dad and grandpa worked for Firestone, so I never really had to learn much about working on vehicles myself, I’d just pull into the shop and they’d take care of it. This project changed that.

Over the last year, this truck has taught me new skills, patience, problem solving and a few life lessons along the way. It’s truly been a labor of love.

With the help of a Haynes Repair Manual, YouTube, the internet, friends and plenty of trial and error. Many parts from LMC Truck I was able to repair, refurbish or replace:
– Body Work & Paint
– Carburetor
– Thermostat & Gaskets
– Spark Plugs & Wires
– Fuel Pump
– Oil Pan
– Vacuum Lines
– Blower Motor
– Blower Motor Resistor
– Door Hinge Pins
– All lights
– Tires
– Hood
– Heavy Duty Light Harness
– All Door & Window Seals & Gaskets
– Radio Wiring & Speakers
– Dash Pad & Door Panels
– Steering Wheel
– Gauge Cluster
