2011 Ford F150 – Bruce S.

I’m second owner. The first owner had it for 8 years and 80k. It took me 3 months to find this truck and I had no idea it was 98% rust free until I showed up at the dealership. The first owner kept it rust free somehow. Probably rinsed off the salt after every snow event. To preserve it like this I’ve treated the frame and undercarriage with Cosmoline 342. When I was finalizing the purchase, I was told that a technician in their service department was trying to buy it earlier that morning, but his deal was held up because his credit score was too low for their regular bank partners. I said “So if I had waited another day this truck would’ve been gone?” And he said “No, 30 minutes. We were just waiting for a return phone call from a loan officer we deal with when we have customers with bad credit. She was in a meeting so we left a message and then you pulled into the lot.”
