1957 Chevrolet 3200 – Randy B.

Viejo (old man in Spanish) is a vintage Patina ranch truck, I bought three years ago for a couple thousand dollars off a ranch here in Northern New Mexico.
He originally had a straight six, but somebody dropped a small block V8 into him along the way from a 1973 Chevelle. He has his original ram’s horn exhaust with glass packs in the rear. I rewired him and got all the lights working and put in a four speed on the floor tranny with a new clutch last summer. This year, I put in a new intake manifold to let the engine breathe and a new radiator to replace the old leaky one (from LMC, of course). As a matter of fact, I buy most of my parts from LMC – nobody better.
He’s my daily driver and gets a lot of attention wherever he goes. That frowny faced grille makes me smile every day. He purrs like a kitten and drives like a dream.
And NO, I’m not planning on restoring or repainting him – it took years to look this good!
