1972 Ford F100 – James L.

I own a Towing Service with my Body Shop and I was called to go Tow a Truck to be crushed. I arrived to pick up the truck to carry it to the crusher and something inside me just said no.
Gave the owner some money and took it back to my shop to see if I could do something with it. Once back at the shop, while looking over it, I could only imagine what it might look like if I could fix it up, a hidden diamond under the rust. Then the vision became real. I started on the restoration project in December 2025 . I immediately started looking through my LMC book and started ordering the items
I would need and couldn’t repair or didn’t have on my spare trucks. Next, the work began and the parts started flowing in. Soon with all my long hours at work, my son, a few friends for final touch-up and LMC being so prompt getting my parts to me, I was able to complete most of my project within 5 months, May 10,2026.
