1995 Chevrolet K1500 – Darrin A.

Not as exciting as some of the other stories on here but it’s a story, My name is Darrin Armes. I am 18 years old and got my truck when I was 15. Every penny I make has been put towards the full build of the truck and I have no plan of stopping until it looks brand new. My 1995 k1500 was my very first truck. The truck spent most of its life down in the southern states before moving up here to Ohio. It’s got 440,000 on the body and frame, has had a new motor a couple thousand before I got it. When I bought the truck it had been sitting for awhile and a lot of the interior was ripped out. The transmission was junk but I absolutely fell in love with it. I have since put a new transmission, 4 inch suspension lift, 33×12.50 tires on 15” bullet hole rims, an entire new front end, an exhaust system and I’m still in the process of getting a new paint job and getting the frame looking good.
