1959 Ford F100 – Daniel R.

I acquired this 1959 Ford mid 2010 as a result of a hard luck sale from a local mechanic who came up on her while on a road trip. She was in decent running condition but sorely needed some attention. The original Ford Red Oak bed was trashed with paint and hardened concrete and a myriad of unidentified stains. The bed in pictures is the original after days of stripping and sanding and 4 coats of spar varnish. A paint job, interior seat and headliner replacement as well as lots of mechanical work has been done. She still has the original inline 223 cu in 6 cylinder with a single barrel holly with 3 on the column tree. Although not used as a daily driver…I keep her in storage and exercise her often on nice days. She is a quite nice example of the ways things once were. Thanks to LMC, parts can still be found for these old dinosaurs! I hope she is considered as a feature truck for your next catalog.
