1984 Ford F150 – Allen F.

When I met my wife, she had a basic brown that was barely running 1984 Ford F150, 4.9L 300 I6, 4 speed overdrive, 2 door, styleside, with an 8′ bed. I started fixing things here and there just to get it running smoothly and looking a little better. When I mentioned to my wife that I was thinking of getting it painted, nothing fancy, she kind of rolled her eyes and begrudgingly said ok. Shortly after, she saw an old two tone baby blue over white F150. She said paint it like this. Thats when it became a project car. This is a total ground up restoration. Totally stock. Just like it rolled off the assembly line. Every part of this truck is either new or refurbished by blasting and powder coating or painting. Rebuilt engine, transmission and rear differential. Took me 5 years and had to wait 2 years to get it painted. It appears to be an XLT from the outside (and a few things inside) but it was born as a basic F150. Its been 8 months since I finished it and has a little over 300 miles on it. A lot of LMC parts on this truck. Questions: [email protected]
