1978 Ford Bronco – Dale M.

I was scrolling through Marketplace and seen an ad for a 1978 Ford Bronco. I had owned a Ford Bronco as a young man and you just don’t see them on the road anymore so I thought it would be nice to get another one to restore.
After several phone conversations with the owner, I went to purchase it. It was a bit of a basket case, it ran and drove but that was about it. Really wasn’t road worthy. So, with the help of a good friend we started to get it road worthy and before we knew it we were completely restoring it.
What a good time, I learned a lot about Broncos. I bought 2 different Broncos for parts and pieces and ordered a ton of new parts and pieces. When it was all said and done we spent about 4 to 5 nights a week working on it for 14 months. We installed new suspension, new interior, rear disc brakes, Vintage Air, Retro Sound stereo, and rewired the whole Bronco. When we were done, we pretty much touched every nut, bolt and wire on it. It was a true journey for me. I would like to thank everyone that had a hand in making this build successful. Davey Crusen, Jay Fish, Bill Crusen, Kenny Fry, Matt Koenning, Brandon Bailing and Chas May. Thank you all for your help.
