1967 Chevy C10 – Rick L.

We have owned this truck 26 years. I drove this truck for first 10 years and my son's drove it in high-school. In about 2015 we decided to do a frame off restoration. My wife and I finished it in 2021. We did all the work out of our home garage with the help of lmc. We enjoy taken it to cruise nights and car shows.

1969 Chevy C10 – Euel R.

For the Love of Restoring Vintage Trucks and Automobiles, it is my son’s passion. My son, Jason, who has restored a number of vehicles decided to restore a vintage truck for me. We found this 1969 Chevy C10 step-side pickup in Towanda, Kansas. He started this frame off restoration March 30, 2017 and completed it on April 21, 2020. This restoration included a time gap from October 2017 through March 2018. Jason responded to a hurricane that hit the Virgin Islands. He returned to Wichita after the power was restored in Saint Croix and continued working on the pickup. ... read more >>

1972 Chevy C10 – Phillip A.

Stays in the Family My truck is a 1972 Chevy C-10. My grandfather purchased the truck brand new. Basically everything is all original up until the last few years. When I got back from deployment at the end of 2020 I told my grandfather I had to completely replace the entire wiring system in it, due to years of adding and taking away of various items i.e. CB radio stand alone back-up camera things of that nature. So since I decided to do that I also decided to upgrade all the lights to L.E.D replace all the trim and ... read more >>

1972 Chevy C10- William P.

Growing up in the late 70’s my dad had a 1970 Chevy pickup and I always dreamed of owning my own truck. In 2017, I bought a 1972 C-10 in rough shape with my dad’s support. He had just been diagnosed with cancer and knew that I could restore it. He told me, “Take your time and do it right”. I combined four trucks to build my complete frame off restoration along with pieces of my dad’s truck. I included the grill and 396 big block from my dad’s 1970 truck in my pickup. I spent three and half ... read more >>

1970 Chevy C10 – Cristina P.

Wishes Do Come True My name is Cristina and I live in Ontario, Canada. When I was a teenager I remembered watching a movie made in the early 90’s about life in small town Texas on the final day of the school year in the mid-70’s. The movie was “Dazed and Confused”. There were a few big named actors, still unknown at the time. There were some really cool muscle cars being driven around by the teens, including a 1971 Chevy C10! The truck was a black short box with red interior, and I was in love!! Since watching ... read more >>

1968 Chevy C10 – Michael O.

A Proud 68 Lives On My dad bought his new 1968 C-10 half-ton pickup when he and my mom lived in small town in California’s Sierra Nevada Mountains. He paid $2,400 for it. Gas was cheap then, and it didn’t matter that the V-8 engine with a max 287 HP got a paltry 18 miles per gallon. A no-frills vehicle, it has no A/C, no power brakes, no power steering and three on a tree which seems to mystify today’s teenagers. That part of the world is off the beaten path so my folks didn’t put a lot of ... read more >>

1966 Chevy Suburban – Doug D.

Rescued '66 Burb I believe that this 1966 Chevrolet Suburban originally was used by the United States Army, because it has olive drab paint in the door jambs, and has a government contract number on the VIN plate. It was found abandoned in the woods near Dothan, Alabama, and It is very likely that this vehicle was used at Fort Rucker, because is located near by.. It has the original 292 inline 6, and a SM-420 transmission. I checked the numbers, and they matched! The icing on the cake is that it only has 64,704 miles on the odometer, ... read more >>
