My First Truck

One afternoon, my dad was coming home from work and spotted it at a car sales lot in Carthage, MO. He thought I might like it so he sent me a picture of it. It was love at first sight. The truck turned out to be an old farm truck that sat for a couple of years and only had minor work done to it at the time. The next day, we went and test drove it and I loved it. We got a loan at the bank and they surprised me with it the next day, while I was gone on a school field trip. Now, every time I get in the truck or even look at it, I can’t help but smile.
