Around 12 years ago, I bought a Monte Carlo, which had a really tired engine swap. I made very little money, so I traded it for a Bronco II which couldn’t pass emissions leading to me ending up in a really bad spot… I traded that Bronco to some guy for a rusty 1977 Ford F-250. Now I had come across Martha out of desperation, and paid about every penny I had to my name, just to have something that would get me to work… There are many stories I have about this truck, but day one was one of my favorite stories. I traded for the truck, and was feeling pretty good, I figured I would test drive the truck by cruising up and down State street, the main road in Salt lake City. I made it about half way up and the fuel pump diaphragm tore, leaving me stranded, helpless and confused… Lucky enough, a redbull truck pulled me off the main road and I figured out a plan. I walked across the street, and asked Lucky’s Auto Credit if they had a cheap car, they let me test drive a 2000’s taurus, which I promptly “Test Drove” right to AutoZone to buy a fuel pump with money my mom transferred to my bank account (lol), then to my house to grab some tools…. Once I fixed the truck, it really started to shine, and never left me stranded a single time in my entire 10+ years of ownership. Many many more stories have happened and many more left to come!

I’m almost done with an EFI 460 Big Block swap, an e4od Transmission swap, and soon, I’ll buy a full interior for the truck… Still looks the same way but it’s pretty much brand new in all the ways that matter.
