1987 Dodge W150 – Adam B.

I’ve always loved Dodge, especially the 1st gens. When I was getting my first truck my dad said, “What do you want?” and I said, “A 1st gen Dodge.” When we found my truck, the 1987 Dodge w150, it was just finished getting rust fixed in the fenders and I fell in love with it. After I got it, it needed a name of course, so I named it the Black Pearl or Pearl for short after all it’s a jewel of a truck. It originally had a 318 which we swapped to a 85 360 thanks to my uncle finding a donor truck but it didn’t run right. Turns out we put the wrong torque converter in and after 6 years I got it back on the road cruisin because I lost interest in it. Can’t wait to get it completely restored with some paint on it. Thanks to LMC I was able to be inspired by others and find parts I needed for it. Thanks to my Dad, my uncle, my buddies Louis and Danny, we got every mechanical bug worked out. I can’t wait to spend more time making her look and run better.
