1978 Chevy Suburban – Robert H.

My dad bought this suburban brand new in 1978. Since then, we've made so many memories as a family. Now, for the past 25 years, I've been holding on to it. I drove it for 10 years then it sat in my garage. My dad has no idea that I still have it. I'm on the process of getting it back on the road and surprising my dad.

1986 GMC Suburban – Rick C.

In 1986 I ordered a new GMC suburban with every available option at the time, except rear a/c. I took delivery in 1987, along with my new daughter, Haylee. I was a river guide at the time, and living in oregon I didn't feel rear a/c was necessary because my fishing gear would take up nearly 2/3 of the back area. I wasn’t worried about resale value either. After numerous hunting and fishing excursions, 8 years later in 1995, i ordered a new suburban. I had a friend who was interested in my ‘87, so i sold it to ... read more >>

1999 Chevy Suburban – Larry H.

Larry's Victory Red Suburban I bought this suburban on the last day of 2004, I tell everyone this is my mid-life crises car, not the bright red Ferrari, but a victory red suburban. I was only 49, which I do not consider mid-life, 50 sounds more like mid-life. I needed to down size the number of cars I had. As a single guy, with no kids, or dogs, did I need three vehicles. I had a small 1983 GMC S-15 pickup I got when my father past away. A 1985 Volvo 245 station wagon that was my mothers, before ... read more >>

1961 Chevy Suburban – Brandon F.

Rescue Mission Father, son, and brother rescue mission.  We rescued a 1961 Chevy Suburban with a factory 4x4, original straight 6 with 4 speed transmission.  My grandfather's friend had the suburban and it had been sitting in his field for 20 years.  After four months of owning it, a father and son and brother build got it running and moving on its own.  We put a good battery and a brand new starter in it, and it fired up.  It really has good patina paint job very.  It's a rare Suburban.  Of course, it's going to ... read more >>

1966 Chevy Suburban – David L.

I thought you might like to see my 1966 Chevrolet Suburban.  I have had this vehicle for 37 years now.  Throughout all those years I have used LMC Truck for most of the parts to make the Suburban what it is today. Some of the upgrades throughout the years are: High Torque 383 coupled to a Turbo 350 Front disk brakes New Interior It is sporting its third paint job Tinted Windows The pin strips were laid on by one of the many artists that attend the best car show in Utah every year.  That show is The Rat ... read more >>

1961 Chevy Suburban – Brandon F.

4x4 Original So purchase a 1961 Chevy suburban from my grandparents friends.  The truck was sitting for 20 years in a field.  Its rusty but has potential.  It will need floor pans, rockers, both front fenders, and some quarter panel work.  I will be getting all new metal from LMC Truck.  This 1961 Chevy suburban 4x4 original is very rare.  Also, original is the straight 6 with 4 speed.  I will be using the original steel wheels with hubcaps, keeping this all original.  It would be an honor to get this shared on Facebook and Instagram.  Thank you. ... read more >>

1969 GMC Suburban – Mark S.

Atomic Suburban This 3/4 ton, 4 speed, 4x4 GMC Suburban was 1 of 10 special orders by Atomic Energy of Canada in 1969. It was used to collect samples from the bush around the Atomic Energy plant in Pinawa, Manitoba, Canada. These samples were then tested for radiation and it held this role until the 1990's when it was sold to a civilian. The Suburban was ordered in a fleet yellow that is unlike any other GM yellow and another unique option is code 9939AA "additional electric horns", which presumably were to scare off bears and moose while driving ... read more >>

1972 Chevy Suburban – Jose S.

Growing up my dad had couple classic cars and I used to be his Sunday helper hoping that after we were done he would hand the keys over. The good old days , now I went from a modern car to this and I love it ! The previous owner did most of the work.  I picked up were he left off and I will continue on working on it.  She’s not perfect but she runs very strong.  All original miles and matching numbers. I’m waiting for my pop’s to get better after surgery to come visit and go ... read more >>
